This project focused on highlighting the redevelopment potential of both secular and religious heritage sites and their surrounding environment, catalysing the progress and urbanization of the last royal capital of Myanmar. The collection and analysis of data was carried out across specific areas of Mandalay, thereby developing alternative scenarios of how such areas could be improved in conjunction with Asia Development Bank’s (ADB) activities. The results of the project will be used by the ADB to develop their strategy and action plan.
